If there’s one person we want to pick whose works are a showmanship of ultimate musicianship skills, then it’ll have to be the long-time American record producer – Quincy Jones – who is also a conductor, composer, musician , television producer, instrumentalist, magazine founder, entertainment company executive and recently, the proud owner of JBL’s newest product: the E55BT, a reasonably priced Bluetooth headphone.

On a recent marketing campaign, Quincy showed how a product can be marketed via talented and beautiful women from the music industry including one of our very own Asian talent – Yuna.

In a recent Facebook post, Jones quoted: “Yuna embodies that commitment with her own forward-reaching sound while paying respect to her influences, and I absolutely love that about her,” said Jones.

At his recent launch of JBL’s E55BT Quincy Edition of Headphones, he commented: “We had a beautiful time chatting about some of our favourite young musicians that keep us excited for the future! Keep on keepin’ on a gurl.”

The headphone is retailed at $150, £100 and AU$230, and comes in multiple colour options. As part of the top-end model in JBL’s ‘value’ E-Series line of wireless headphones, it has similar build quality as the Audio-Technica ATH-S700BT and Sennheiser HD 4.40. Overall the industry reviews have rated it as ‘ok’ within the competing models in this $150 price range. It boasts a 20-hour battery life and conveniently controls music and calls from the ear-cup.
